Refer Families to Kesem
Kesem provides free, year-round programs that support children ages 6–18 who are coping with a parent or primary caregiver’s cancer. Through overnight summer camp, virtual gatherings, day programs, and personalized support when challenges arise, kids build connections, gain resilience, and experience the joy of simply being kids.

Who is eligible for Kesem programs?
Families who have:
- 1 or more parents/guardians who had/have a cancer diagnosis
- 1 or more children between 6-18 years old
Who can refer a family to Kesem?
Any community member who:
- Knows a family or families with 1 or more parents/guardians who had/have a cancer diagnosis & wants to help them 💚
- Has the family's or families' consent to submit their personal contact information on their behalf
How much do Kesem programs cost?
We are committed to providing free Kesem programs to all children and their families who are affected by a parent's cancer.
What types of programs does Kesem offer?
We offer overnight summer camps, virtual gatherings, day programs, and personalized support when challenges arise :
- Camp Kesem: a free overnight summer camp for kids ages 6-18 who are facing a parent’s cancer
- Club Kesem: virtual gatherings providing support, fun, and year-round community to kids ages 6-18 who are facing a parent’s cancer
- Kesem Together: day programs that happen in the community all year-round, bringing in-person fun and connection to children facing a parent’s cancer
- Kesem by Your Side: programming that brings magic to Kesem kids and families beyond our scheduled programs by providing personalized support year-round, whenever challenges associated with a parent's cancer arise
Where are Kesem programs offered?

What can families expect after being referred to Kesem?
Referred families will receive a series of Welcome emails detailing Kesem programs and program registration instructions. Be sure to submit an email address that families regularly check on the referral form!
